Thank you nature

The shining sun
and the soothing breeze
The droplets of rain
and the magical rainbow
The clouds cover the mountains
and first rain after summer
The verdant fields, palm trees
and the rabbits running through them
The infinite seas and oceans
and the waves whipping the beaches

The woman is fiddling with the remote
in the dark and muggy livingroom
sifting through the TV channels
The man is stuffing pizza and beer
on the cold dirty leather couch
thinking about his assets and mortgages
The kids are busy
with books and homework
preparing for school nextday

The young executive is at work
immersed in the heavy files
earning money to live happily everafter
The charming lady is at the beauticians'
getting manicures pedicures
and chemicals for makeup
The old man is on his death bed
reflecting on his past life
convincing himself it all made sense
Everyone seems happy
happier than they could ever be
at least that is what they like to think
